Re: Crazy Veggie Tip
My Maryland grandfather always said to (and did) put a handful of ground
lime in the hole when planting tomatoes. He said it made the fruit sweeter,
and whether it was really true or not, I always believed his tomatoes were
the sweetest I'd ever tasted.
