RE: [GWL]: Croton Question


Just one last note on crotons. No one I read (and I still don't seem to get 
every post) mentioned humidity. In growing crotons in gh, and having them in 
a retail/home environment, its high requirements for humidity and light seem 
to be the limiting factors. I agree with others about no frost, etc. I once 
gave a reader the advice to treat the croton like a boston fern - put it in 
the bathroom if you must grow it indoors over winter - it worked, but then 
she had a skylight in the bath, so light wasn't a problem.
