I agree that digital is the way to go. I'm $3000 deep into digital equipment, absolutely in love with my latest camera and I never need to touch a photographic chemical or go to a photo shop. It seems a bit inefficient though to place your digital photos in multiple folders as that can become a nightmare in trying to find photos quickly...or sometimes...ever. I'm using an inexpensive program called Imatch that allows you to file the digital image just once but via it's database you can 'file' notations, information and index that single photo in an unlimited number of categories then call it up with a single keystroke.
