Re: USDA Leafy Greens Proposal

Would this apply to gardeners who just sell their excess produce at on-site  
stands or on consignment through farmers markets?  Maggie

As one who "ate  the spinach" last year, however, and suffered the 
consequences, I'm all  for strict agricultural and sanitation restrictions in 
producing 
products  for raw consumption, and they should be mandatory, not voluntary.  
One  
go-round with E. coli is entirely enough!
