Don't know if this is PC or not for the list...although I recall posts about 
it in the past...

I'm looking for writing/editing work. I just lost two fairly permanent 
writing gigs that took a chunk of my work. Cutbacks, restructuring, call it 
what you will, but work is getting scarce in my neck of the woods. I'm 
freelance, so work does come and go, but recently it has only been going. 
I'm sure many of us are experiencing this.

I look carefully at all your great info on blogs and twitter and such, but I 
prefer to write regular articles or books. That is where I feel most 
comfortable...and feel I fit...for now...

If anyone knows of any editors for books, magazines (new or existing), 
websites, catalogs...whatever...I am available and flexible. Or, if editors 
have contacted you and you were unable to help because of previous 
committments...let me (or them) know!

My expertise is, number one...garden writing, especially stories about 
gardeners that are passionate about their gardens or a particular plant or 
group.

I also write travel, pets, medical and feature stories...basically anything 
I can write. I've learned a lot of styles (from hip and quick to serious 
journalism) and worked for most media except radio or TV...so I am open to 
most anything...even editing...(:>) I sometimes do my own photography. I 
wouldn't say I'm a true professional, but It has been fine for my articles.

You can reply (please) offlist if it is something specific, but if it is an 
idea about where to seek work...I'm sure many of us would benefit...
