GWA awards
It seems like GWA places its primary focus on print writing, and possibly that's logical because the word writers is in its name. On the other hand, the au courant among us are looking at being garden communicators in whatever format might be available or is best suited to what we want to "say" to our audience or where we can find that audience. Plain-jane writing seems to be taking a back seat with cutting edge communicators. And I say that with sadness because I see myself first as a writer, secondly as blogger, podcaster, etc. Once again this year I debated for a long time before sending in my renewal dues....
