Re: spanish lavender

Really surprised Jo Ellen.  Spanish lavender is one of the most reliable for California.  I would wonder if it got too much water or if the soil was too rich.  It handles lean soils and dry soils.  I'd go easy on the fertilizer too.  I never fertilize mine and we have very lean soils.  It is very much a tough love plant!

Do you remember which variety?
