Re: Re RoundUp? and a rant

Like I or anyone should believe ANYTHING Monsanto and their bought out "scientists" say? Or the government? The revolving door of "scientists" who go for big money from Monsanto and then work for the regulatory agencies makes one dizzy. And now the British newspaper The Guardian reports a "scientist" who is a leading mouthpiece for corporate response to global warming has been paid $1 million to parrot the corporate propaganda. Just follow the money!

It sounds like someone on this list believes the corporate propaganda over common sense. I would defer to "back to the earth" over corporate propaganda and their obscene profit motives any day. Any research done on Monsanto patented products must be approved by Monsanto before it is released to the public. Only positive spin Monsanto research is released to the public. Scientists who will not sign a non disclosure agreement with Monsanto cannot do research on Monsanto patented products. That is not scientific research but corporate propaganda. Almost all "research" done in land grant universities is paid for by corporate money. The "scientists" know which side of their bread is buttered and which side is not. And they know where the bread and butter comes from. So whether you want to admit it or not, "science' is not old school science anymore but new school science—corporate influenced science.

One of the "scientific professors" in the timber program at Oregon State University about 30 years ago in a heated argument over 2, 4, D being used in the forests actually drank some to prove it was perfectly safe. Again, follow the money... he was getting money from corporate interests for his "research." Money trumps unbiased research and all common sense.
