Re: Plant by numbers

A lot of nurseries sell plants by groups in a theme, which is essentially
the same thing as "plant by numbers." I've seen a "white garden," a "blue
garden," a "spring garden", etc. and they come with a layout. It depends
on how good the designer is as to whether or not it will be a successful
garden when planted. It's not necessarily good or bad in concept. I don't
buy that way because my garden is already full. But I've seen some
beautiful designs by White Flower Farm and if I were just starting I
would definitely buy them.
