Re: another garden magazine ceases


Hello Sally,
    Flower and Garden was the first gardening magazine I became aware of and
subscribed to... stayed with it all the way through until the end. The last
year or two the magazine definitely had identity problems. Became pretty
dysfunctional and had no concept of who or what it was. The last year it
seemed like a different magazine each month... to me no "real" content. I
had the feeling they wanted to become something other than what they were,
but never figured out exactly what that "other" was.
    That is not exactly sound research and pie charts, but how I as a
gardener felt about the magazine. I would have not renewed another year.
