Re: Spray Weeds With Vinegar?
Hi all. I too had seen the piece and have tried to find
information on the effects of this kind of vinegar treatment (at 5 or 10
percent or higher) on earthworms and other beneficials for both a potential
article and as an information handout for my organic community garden (mind
you the community garden is in Woodstock, NY, where some of the gardeners
won't even hand-kill harmful pests -- bad karma).
My search led to information on acid rain and beneficials, but I found
nothing
on the effects of vinegar or how long it might persist in the soil.
Does anyone know of research on this?
Thanks in advance.
Aimee
