Re: Most Frequent Questions/to Fran

It's proper name is "Grandma's blue flower that grew beside the porch when I was little". It is usually blue. The customer wants to plant it because it is reminiscent of the molasses and raisins cookies grandma made during spring/summer/visits.
 
I keep a large  book with colour plates of blue flowers just for that particular question.

Also: "I had a plant last year that I want to buy again. I don't remember what color the flower was. I don't know how tall it was. I don't know whether it grew in the sun or the shade. What was it?"
