My sentiments exactly. And, unfortunately, it is also the law. Don't post it to the net without a copyright. The law is plain and simple. However, if you are working on scoring points with your Hosta friends and neighbors, or with God, then you'll probably want to ask for permission first.
This is a very simple business decision really; to post and risk others using your work without legal recourse, or taking the time to properly identify your work as private property. No 149 minutes required for this one, as Ran has pointed out.
