Thanks Lori,
I'll check it out.

I
picked up a nice little program called System Mechanic. Cleans out the temp
files, cookies, invalid reg files in your systems folders, fixes broken links,
and cleans out those that have had the program removed yet the link is
lingering somewhere in the brains of the CPU etc. It cost 20 ro 30
bucks, but to me it is worth having the ability to clean out all this junk
without searching for them manually and possibly deleting something
valid.

Hi Sam,
This is the "cache"; these are pages that you have visited, that are
stored on your computer so that you won't have to wait for them to load,
next time you go there. And no, you don't need to save any of them, although
you'll be online longer, waiting for them to load next time. You can set the
cache in your browser preferences, to clear it, or set how long pages are
cached for,

Do I
need what is in the Temporary Internet Files? There are tens of
thousands of files in there (totaling 46.2 MB.) and a lot of them are
duplicates. Lots of pix and even e-mails. If
Ihave a cookies file, then why is there a temp.
internet file? And then there is the Temp.
File,what's with
that?Thanks for any
