I would like to thank everyone that sent help for my mealy bugs.

Guess how I spent my Labor Day Weekend?? Battle of the Bugs Weekend, I
should call it.

I used the ol' q-tip and alcohol treatment, and added a systemic to the
plants (orchids). I somehow didn't feel I would do a good job treating the
plants without transplanting them into new medium. Couldn't see treating
the plant and not the medium. And I'm glad I decided to do that, because I
found critters in the bark.

It was alot of work and I'm only about 3/4 done. Hope I didn't kill the
orchids with all my kindness.  And do they look beautiful now!!... I
cleaned every leaf, top and bottom, removed the old skin and anything else
that didn't look good, washed, soaked and bleached every pot and removed
every bug I could see.....

Whew.
