What zone are you in, Isabelle? I think you chose beautiful roses, but in my
zone 5b/6 garden I have not had great luck with climbing Cecile Brunner. It
seems to do beautifully over winter, and then a late frost comes along afterit
starts to leaf out and does it in. I have had it five years and only seen it
bloom once. But what beautiful blooms!!
And I think you will find that old garden roses are wonderful -- more disease
resistant, more trouble free, and absolutely gorgeous!!
