Was sunny here in Oregon (Shock) yesterday so I got out, went back in
and put on a heavy coat as the sun was misleading..was very cold..and
wandered the garden. My roses are starting to bud already!
We have had a pretty mild winter. but the usual winds are starting up
and it's time, I guess, to trim the roses.
I'm gona wait 'till I get back from Mexico, DH and I leave day after
tomorrow for 2 sunny weeks amongst tropical flora and warm water.
Meanwhile, I have bought the much acclaimed fish emulsion and wonder
when I should start with it? We sometimes have late freezes here ...
last April, I was hardening out flats of nice healthy seedlings,
including peppers and tomatoes that had been started in Feb to give them
a good growing season, and they all got murdered from an unsuspected
cold snap. Hopefully by April I'll have my greenhouse done and have a
warm and protected spot to harden off.
Meanwhile, fish emulsion information needed.
Happy soon to be Spring everyone!
