RE: [Rose-list] Re: Hopeless Gardener-holic

Souveniour (sp?) du Dr. Jamin

Got mine at Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham, Texas. It is gorgeous and
actually NEEDS a little shade to keep its color.

I have LD Braithwaite and so far it has had terrible blackspot, etc. for me
too. BUT, in its defense, it is outside near where the gas heater shoots
out air (sorry I can't explain, I'm not a technical person), but anyway, I
figured it wasn't doing the rose any favors. I've planted a shrub in front
of the "outlet" in hopes of minimizing the affect. The shrub doesn't mind
at all.

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.

I AM in shape. ROUND is a shape!
