My favorite right now is any that I can find. I have always had big pots of
"Snake Plant" or "Mother in Law's Tongue." It is below zero here, I think
twelve below.
The squirrels solved my bird problem, the birds won't nest or roost near a
squirrels nest. The droppings under the trees often made it dangerous to
work in my hosta beds, not with the squirrels in the trees though. Squirrels
have their own problems to deal with, mostly they dig up hostas.
I could use a little warm weather right now, but hostas have to have a
dormant period to stabilize the acids in their system. So I doubt that you
will ever finding me living much farther south than Tenn.
Thanks for the note, on the hosta forum we post pictures all the time,
interesting and makes time go quickly and I wouldn't forget to mention
educational. Does anyone ever post a digital image on this forum?
Thanks for the note,
Narda
BTW my dad picked my name out of a name book, but someone else on the
Internet has the same name, it has been used often when I register for a list
etc.
