Re: [SANS] A WORD BY ANY OTHER WORD


I think we are all playing with words here and not making oneself clear.
We certainly need a working word here. Obviously Juvenile leaves or
growth would fit the bill as would stunted, puerile, Lilliputian or
diminutive. Stunted growth could have dual meanings as could puerile I
like Lilliputian myself but then they could also be runts, one not as
strong as the norm. So why not let's call these plants runts which I think
is very descriptive of the plants we are talking about. As anyone who has
bred animals will know, you get runts now and then but if looked after and
given some TLC they can turn into excellent adults.
