I have a rather harmless big dog, a black lab mix. And so far most of the
other creatures here have been keeping their distance.  Maybe she will keep
the crawly ones away to.  I did notice that the previous owner has a small
plastic owl in among the pieces of driftwood in her garden. Maybe this was
for snakes?  (she passed away so I can't ask her)
