Re: Strawberries, birds and snakes

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Hi Trudi,
My sister recommended getting a mating pair of black snakes to keep the
unwanted variety away. But I'm not a real fan of ANY snake. I had never
heard of the cucumber smell before that may be useful. I'm like you, I
don't care what color it is I OUTTA there! We have a lot of land and a lot
of fallen and overgrown timber, rock abandonded stuff. Probably great places
to find snakes. Time to start keeping the grass cut so they stay where they
are (if they are there?) Boy have we gotten OT! Someone will probably
complain. I just find info useful stuff to store away for later.
Thanks,
Cathy
