You can make your sections whatever size you like. It's recommended
that you don't make them more than twice your reach as that allows
weeds to grow in the middle. Square Foot gardening isn't a religion,
it's an adaptable systen -- I doubt that Mel's Utah gardens look much
like the ones on Long Island.
