OK, you guys have finally convinced me. I wasn't going to do zuchinni because I have vivid memories of every zuchinni grower I know desparately trying to give it away...Besides the fact that this is my first garden. But sauteed baby zukes sounds awesome!!! In that case, I live in zone 7--Nashville, TN. What I have started from seed (lettuce, spinach, pea pods, peppers--are in the ground and have survived for a week now. The nights do get below fifty still so I'm holdin out on transplanting my basil and putting in tomato plants so far. What should I do about zukes? start seeds now? I'm very impatient for "free" food. Or by plants when I get my tomatoes in a week or so. (Next year I'm going to try starting heirloom tomatoes.)
