Re: Help--spider mites!!

Hello...

I recently purchased some plants for a customer of mine and they developed
this very problem! Recognizing at once that he had a problem with some sort
of infestation, I just grabbed the squirt bottle, filled it with water,
grabbed a few paper towels and had a field day on his plant. I checked the
other plants in his office, but the one was the only one attacked.

So...no chemicals...just intensive labor, water and paper towels.

Hope this helps.

Sean asked for help in dealing with spider mites on the Jalapeno pepper
seedlings in his apartment. Amy suggested the standard organic response:
mix soap in water and spray all aboveground parts of the plants.

This should be Sean's first step, but if it proves inadequate to the task
(spider mites are *hard* to get rid of), then the toxicant of choice is
kelthane.
