Re: zucchini & squash bugs

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I had trouble with both pests last year. All the suggestions for the
squash vine borers have been very useful, but I'm still wondering
what to do about the squash bugs. I decided not to use rotenone
because we live on a creek and it is very toxic for fish. In fact,
it comes from a plant in South America where people use it to poison
the water and catch the fish. I was thinking of trying regular
pepper spray and see how that works. Any other suggestions?
