Please share your corn success stories!

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has found the "perfect" sqft
arrangement for corn, as well as the names of any varieties that have worked
well in raised beds.  I have four beds, two 3X8X2, one 4X8X2, and one 6X8X2.
I didn't plan corn this year because I thought the beds weren't big enough,
but now that I look again at the 6X8 bed I think it might be possible.  If
anyone has any good sqft advice so I can plan for next year I'd love to hear
it!  8-)
