Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html Joe -- what a funny, delightful post! I had to laugh, recognizing myself in some of what you said. I've never been much of a tomato eater myself, but find myself in mourning that our tomatoes are winding down in this dreadful drought. I can now understand why tomatoes are the most grown vegetable in America. John Denver had a song on one of his albums, "Homegrown Tomatoes." Anyone familiar with it? It's a silly little ditty, but I can sure identify with it now! There's nothing in the world like a fresh, juicy, homegrown tomato! >The moral of the story is that there's nothing like home grown produce. So true! I myself can't wait to try some veggies I've never much cared for. Patricia S. Zone 7b, West Georgia >You just hit on an interesting observation, Kevin. My wife used to be a >notoriously picky eater. Now for next year she has a whole list of things that >she wants me to plant! (I think I've created a monster!!!) > >The moral of the story is that there's nothing like home grown produce.
