Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi all,
Well I guess I will avoid asking about Jerry Baker! <grin> Wow --
seems to be some passionate people here.
Thank you for recommending a few books. I'm returning all of the J.B.
books tomorrow. lol
I live on the Gulf Coast in Texas, zone 9. I attempted my first garden
this year with very limited success. 4 ft. by 8 ft.-- tomatoes,
peppers, cucumbers and squash. The squash was a total failure and
didn't do much better with the cucumbers. I guess I did okay with the
tomatoes and peppers but certainly nothing to write home to mom about.
I had enough since to try a raised bed and lots of compost. But my
placement was a bit off. There was a lot more sunlight in the area
before the trees put leaves on. lol Over all it was a good learning
experience but I want to do better this spring. Hence my question about
a winter reading list.
Thanks again for the help. I think I will lurk for awhile and see what
I can learn now.
