Julie,
I have a 4 X 8 foot block I grow tomatoes in, I space them 2 feet apart. I
also have an 8 foot high frame, 1 foot in the ground, that I grow tomatoes
on. I only plant three or four plants. I pinch the suckers and let the
plant grow over the top. I get more tomatoes than I can use.
