Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi everyone! I'm new on the list, but
thought I'd throw my two cents worth in here.
I read in Maureen Gilmer's The Budget
Gardener that a good, cheap alternative to DE is used belt sandpaper.
You can easily get it from cabinetry shops or high school wookworking
classes. Have never tried it, but it sounds reasonable.
Also, I am a Zone 4 person (2 hours north of
Green Bay in Michigan's Upper Penninsula. We still have 3 feet of
snow. I don't even have a plot of ground picked out yet (I have some
ideas). My yard is full of grass, and I'm not sure how to even
start. I just read Mel's book, and really like his ideas. So, if you
have any insider tips for me, I'd appreciate them.
Thanks,
Autumn
