Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Oh, WOW, Dawn!
You just widened my horizons! My yard is a miserable gravel patch
covered with the last tenant's red crushed rock and subversive "Wandering
Jew" vines. But 5 gal. buckets from the bakery or deli - wonderful! And I
can make shelves with planks & 12" square ornamental cement blocks I already
have, along with the hulk of a discarded kitchen base cabinet. Thereby I can
have 4 levels; ground for cukes & zukes, 1st pails for toms (could cut
bottoms out for roots to grow), 2 level of pails on the plank & blocks, 3rd
row of pails on the old cabinet, or maybe large Rubbermaid type plastic
boxes. Everything will get more sun this way too. And I won't have to bend
over nearly as much. Yippee!
Hmmm. D'ya suppose my landlord would go for pea vines up the side of the
fence towards the front? If I give him some harvest?
Nancy
PS - did you use the molded shell type wading pool or the blownup rings
type?
