Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I also have bright lights growing in my flower beds as well as the vegie
beds- just tried a combo of purple basil(don't know the name) bright lights
and kale with tomatoes marinated in lemon juice and served over bulgar-cold-
yum! My pole beans are a disappointment-so much green -so little bean- but
still yummy- just can't seem to get half of the vegies into the house before
we eat them! Lemon cukes are wonderfull- armenian cuke are almost ready-
can't wait. And Eggplant doesn't seem to know it is supposed to do anything.
Melons and cukes are doing better now that the sunflowers are giving them a
bit of shade. My boyfirend just bought a digital camera and boy am I having
fun with that. Even tho this is my first year square foot gardening,( never
veggie gardened at all before actually) and I have wasted a lot of time and
money and not gotten a lot of vegies- I have learned so very much and plan
on learning from our mistakes(everyones!) Wanting to plant some winter crops
and hoping that the tomatoes get ripe soon- I am never susing raised beds
for them again-too hard to keep em watered. Hoping my butternut squash annd
bordhouse goards survive in big pots- have them growing over the tool
shed.-Waiting for the dreaded cucumber beetle to come and get them.Planted
Four Oclocks in somne bare place in my raised beds and they are taking over-
really love the idea of combing flowers with vegies- thinking of
implementing Mels ideas on this thruout my yard-Teri
