Re: what do you make your raised beds from?
I used scrap lumber for my grandfather but I don't expect him or it to last
for alot of years. I did think about using concrete blocks. They would be
deep enough for the dirt/soil and you could cement poles into the holes for
climbing veggies. I missed out on getting a bunch from a torn down
building but if I got the chance again, I would collect a punch for Gramps
and they would absolutely last the rest of his life...especially since he
has recently decided that he wants to live to 104 (only 82 now).
