Bt (Bacillus thurengensis) kills any chewing pest like tomato hornworms and
caterpillars. It's non-toxic to other animals, including birds, bees and
humans. Bt goes by the trade names Thuricide and Dipel. It comes in powder
and liquid forms. Powder is in a shaker canister and is easy to apply to
tomatoes. The liquid is mixed with water and sprayed.
