A few questions. Was : Alive?-
It does seem rather quiet lately, doesn't it?
OK, I'll start the conversation rolling by asking a few questions:
1) This year, I'm growing basil in my square foot garden for the first time. Does anyone have comments about spacing, fertilizer care etc.? The weather here has been mild (70's) with lots of clouds and rain - not exactly herb growing weather, so the basil is still alive, but not shooting up like the tomatoes are.
2) When I grow my seedlings each year, I use a weak solution of fish emulsion, but have never used that after transplanting (the stuff smells awful, BTW). If I use the fish emulsion on more mature plants, will the tomatoes, peppers, basil, etc. taste like fishy?
Thanks in advance.
