Hi John, I planted my parsnip seeds about 3 weeks ago, just like Mel's carrots - 16 per sq/ft. They haven't germinated yet. (I might have buried them too deep...). I can't tell you yet if this is right, but now that I've read everyone else's posts, if they grow OK, I'll keep them at 16, because I like them small and sweet, just like skinny carrots, and won't need them heavy-shouldered.
