Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I just got a wood stove for my basement/workshop and was wondering how much ash
was too much and how to best use the ash. My garden is about 500+ square feet.
I'm trying to get one of those compost tumblers this year. Currently, my compost
pile is a two bin system. One active and the other "raw materials".
Should the ash go in the compost pile or should I spread it in the garden? Any
particular time better than any other to spread. I can store lots of ash in
buckets until I need to use it. Won't really have any until next winter but I
thought I'd post while I thought about it.
Thanks, - AG
