Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I think that wood ash adds phosphorus and potassium. I heated
with wood this winter, and added the ashes to my compost heaps
all winter long. (I have large compost heaps).
I am making new beds this year (moved to a new place last year),
and am not sure how big the garden will eventually get, hehehe,
I'm late starting. Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on
spacing for "three sisters" companion planting (corn, beans, and
squash or pumpkins). I have a bunch of volunteer pumpkin plants
sprouting out of one compost heap that received a couple of
rotten pumpkins from last year's Halloween, nice big, strong
seedlings.
