Todd,
My mother once (and only ONCE) picked up gin trash from a local
cotton gin outside of Phoenix, AZ. It made a good mulch. The
trash was mostly made up of seeds - and many, many of them sprouted.
It was fun for us kids to play with the cotton we grew that year, but
my Mom wasn't all that amused.
