Go out into your garden in the early morning with a flashlight. If they only
attack at night then you will see them eating away at your plants. What kind
of damage are you having. If the entire plant is being cut off at the base
then it's cutworms and you can find them in the soil near the plant they
just destroyed. Snails leave trails so follow them. I have gone out many a
morning and found the critter. Good Lick
