Re: Cabbage Worms


Here's what one of my botany professors used to do, and if you spend enough
time at it, it's quite effective:

-- mix some bleach (not very much, maybe 1 part bleach to 8 parts water or
less) and water in a mop bucket
-- pick the cabbage worms off the plants and toss 'em into the bleach mixture

Of course, dumping the bleach mixture becomes the next challenge. Now that I
think about it, you probably don't even need the bleach, just enough water (or
maybe some salt mixed in instead of bleach) to drown the worms. At least this
way, you're sure you get the bugs off your plants, and you don't have to spray
your plants with anything!
