Re: ?Compost mildew and blighted plants?


No no, don't do it! You should take the withered vines and leaves of any
plant that was infected with a fungus, put it in a trash bag and throw
it away. Only disease free plants should go into a compost pile unless
you are one of those amazing people who manages a very HOT compost pile
that will kill the bacteria. I think it has to be something like 115
degrees in the middle to do this, but feel free to correct me if anybody
knows otherwise.
