Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Fern,
Thank you for the information. I looked up BT (Bacillus
thuringiensis), and you are right! It can be used on food crops, and it
kills worms! What a wonderful thing. Do I sound naieve? I just
have never used alot of pesticides in my garden. I have all of this long
range oil...and other kinds of pest stuff..Diazinon, seven..etc......but I just
choke when it comes time to spray. I have always just let things work
themselves out in the past. Even to the point of pruning my rose bushes
back when powder mildew occurs, rather than use a fungicide. Sorry if I
offended the purists, but roses fit into my sq.. ft. gardening plan. I
just hate using things that might get eaten by my family and
myself...eventually.
I have always used the philosophy...if I can't grow it...It
just doesn't belong here.
I am going to actually try this...I want to grow broccoli this
year!!!!
Thanks,
Peg
