Sounds like imported cabbage worms. (Gee, Americans can't even build
caterpillars right any more--we have to import 'em. :-) I personally haven't
had enough of a problem to go after them, so i'll leave it to someone else
to suggest BT. But i don't think you can avoid bringing them into the
kitchen :-P at harvest time, so...
Soak the broccoli in salt water after you harvest it. This will flush the
little green guys out of hiding. Don't worry about missing a few--they lose
their camouflage green when cooked. :-P :-P They're high in protein, too.
