I removed the tomato and pepper plants from our garden over the weekend.
Also tipped over the Walls o' Water to drain them. Despite the fact that I
had put bleach in each tube at the beginning of the season, the Walls o'
Water are disgusting--full of algae and some bugs, dust, and debris that had
fallen in there.
I hate to think of trying to get these things clean, and sure don't want to
fill them up and bleach them all over again. A question for those of you who
have used them for more than one season: do you just leave the slime in
there?
I don't think I'll even be able to get them completely dry inside before
storing them over the winter.
