There's at least one desert in Manitoba that I know
of, plus lots of gravel pits.

I am surprised that
Manitoba has places of sandy soil. It is like sand canât be replenished,
so I grow what I can in it. One thing here is the soil temperature can get
very hot, even around 40Â C on some days.
