The seed last year (SIGNA 15CR027) was
Iris tectorum based on the flowers of the parent plant.
Seeds of that species are not expected to have an aril, even
though those seeds appeared to have a small one. I have two
seedlings, but it will be at least another year before they bloom
and could be longer.
