RE: tectorum X bucarica

I had reported last year on seed pod on tectorum polinated by bucarica. I got three seeds from this pod. One looked good, others were tiny and schriveled up.

It took a long time, but the one good seed finally germinated. It was growing well in a covered fruit cup, but stopped growing as soon as lid was off. Eventually died.

This year I pollined four tectorum flowers with bucarica polon . Four pods. Now waiting to see what seeds I get.

You wouldn't expect such a cross to take. But it did.
