My confusa (SIGNA 038257 H.P. ex Tian Quan Co Sichuan) is a white
one, and I'm sure it has bigger flowers. Mine is still in bud, so I
will measure when the flowers open.

The japonica (SIGNA 038263 good lavenders ex E. Sichuan sibbed ) that
is blooming now, has a very small flower.

Is it usual for the darker flowers to be tiny?
